David (Laurian) Carriere

David (Laurian) Carriere was accused of abuse of minors between 1978-1979 at the Santa Barbara Mission.  He was named in a civil suit in 2004.   According to the suit, Carriere assaulted one victim on a weekly basis in various locations around the Mission, including the Mission pool’s changing room and unused living quarters in the Mission. The assaults went on for most of this victim’s junior and senior years.  Carriere is deceased.
