Santa Rosa Diocese Sexual Abuse
Historic Day!! New Law for Abuse Survivors Regardless of Current Age!! On October 13, 2019, Governor Newsom signed Assembly Bill 218, a new law that gives all survivors of childhood sexual abuse, regardless of their current age, a three year “window” to file a civil lawsuit for the abuse they suffered. This “window” could be significantly shortened if a defendant files for bankruptcy, so please contact us right away for a free, confidential consultation to learn your options under this new law!!
The Associated Press published a story on the new law that features one of our attorneys, Michael T. Pfau, and one of our clients who survived abused in the Boy Scouts (he decided to speak out and be interviewed). You can read the story by clicking here.

Priests Accused of Abuse in the Diocese of Santa Rosa: The Diocese has released a list of 39 priests who it says have been credibly accused or convicted of sexually abusing children. Some of the allegations are disputed by the individuals listed below. Where possible we have provided a summary of the allegations and a list of the individual’s known assignments. We have represented many people who were abused by priests that were not identified by the Catholic Church as “credibly accused,” so do not be discouraged from coming forward if the priest who abused you is not listed below.
Please note the list below does not include all 39 priests on the Diocese’s recently released list because many of those names were released for the first time.
By default the list below is sorted by the priest’s last name. You can also sort the list by first name.
