Amado Pena

Amado Pena was a seminary student who left before his ordination. In 2003, while still a seminarian, he was charged with molestation of two 14-year-old boys between 1980 and 1982 at Santa Teresita Church in the Boyle Heights area of East Los Angeles. He fled California and was arrested that same year in Massachusetts on an outstanding 1987 warrant for allegedly sexual assaulting a then-12-year-old boy from Massachusetts. The outcome of the Massachusetts and California criminal investigations are unknown.
