Charles Moore

On January 2, 2019, the Diocese of Monterey released a list of 30 clergymen who have been “credibly accused” of sexually abusing children. Charles Moore was listed as a credibly accused priest not previously released to the public. The diocese acknowledged that it received reports of sexual abuse involving Moore in 2003 arising out of an incident occurring in 1974. Moore died in 2007.
