Edward Henriques

Edward Henriques was named in a 2008 civil lawsuit against the Santa Barbara Franciscan Friars. He was implicated in the abuse of a six year-old girl that occurred in 1964. The accuser said a Franciscan brother would force her to strip in front of him and he would fondle her repeatedly. Another Franciscan, possibly Henriques, was also present during the abuse. Henriques left the priesthood in 1960s and has since died.
