John H. Wadeson

John H. Wadeson was accused of abuse of two children from 1973-1977. He was banned from working in the Los Angeles Archdiocese. In 2014, Wadeson was found working as priest in Guam, apparently since at least 2000. Records show he was incarnated into the Guam Archdiocese in 2000. The Guam Archdiocese admitted it knew of past allegations in 2000 when he was incarnated. He leftt Guam in 2014 and possibly returned to San Francisco. In 2015, Wadeson was reinstated to the Agana Archdiocese after the Los Angeles Archdiocese reviewed the case against him and concluded that because there appeared to have been no settlement and Wadeson was not convicted, Wadeson was “a priest in good standing.”
