Joseph Reagan (Regan) joined the order at age 18 and left in 1966 at age 22 to pursue a career in baseball. In a 2003 civil lawsuit against the Los Angeles Archdiocese, Reagan is accused of sexually abusing a minor. The abuse is alleged to have occurred in 1965 when he was working as a counselor at a boys’ home called Rancho San Antonio in Chatsworth, CA. He never took final vows and died in approx. 1989.
