Michael E. Kelly

Father Michael Kelly was named as an abuser in two 2012 lawsuits against the Diocese of Stockton. He was alleged to have groomed him and forcibly molested boys he encountered while serving as a priest. Born in Ireland, Kelly was psychologically evaluated in 1999 while serving in Calaveras County, and it was concluded that he should not be in contact with children. Kelly was convicted on child pornography charges in Ireland in 2012 and was sentenced to three years in prison.
