Peter H. Luque

Peter Luque, a native of Colton, CA, was ordained in 1962 and spent the next 40 years working in parishes located in what would become the Diocese of San Bernardino in 1978. Prior to that date, these churches were a part of the Diocese of San Diego. For this reason, Luque is often included on lists of priests credibly accused of sexual misconduct released by the Diocese of San Diego, but not necessarily on those released by the Diocese of San Bernardino. In 2002, Luque was placed on administrative leave due to allegations that he had molested children. In 2003, he resigned from St. Edward pending the conclusion of a law enforcement investigation into the allegations against him. He remained on paid administrative leave.
