Roderick Guerrini

Roderick (Roderic) M. Guerrini was ordained in Ireland as a Jesuit. He arrived to the Los Angeles Archdiocese in 1975 and was incardinated 1988. In 1992, a woman told the Los Angeles Archdiocese that Guerrini sexually abused her at age 15 at Santa Clara in Oxnard, California. The woman’s two sisters also alleged that Guerrini had also abused them. Guerrini was referred to a therapist, but allowed to remain in ministry at St. Mark in Venice. He retired in 2002. In 2003, he was named in a civil lawsuit that became part of a large settlement with over 500 claimants. In 2018, he was named in another lawsuit.
