Thing, a pre-novitiate candidate who later became a religious brother, was accused of abusing more than one student at Saint Anthony Seminary. In 2011, a new civil lawsuit was filed allegeding that Thing abused a seventh-grader at St. Christopher Elementary School in Las Vegas. He was officially released from the Order in 2004.
