In 2002, an adult woman alleged that she was sexually abused by Roper (a Claretian priest) from approximately 1968-69, when she was 8-9 years old. Roper is also included on the Gallup Diocese’s list of clerics credibly accused of abuse of minor(s). Roper is deceased.
