Noel Senevirante

Incardinated in the Diocese of Trincomalee-Batticaloa in Sri Lanka, in 2002, Noel Senevirante was reported to have abused a child at St. Leo the Great in San Jose, CA, from 1971-1972. A list of priests credibly accused of child sexual abuse released by the Diocese of San Jose in October of 2018 remains vague about the timing and duration of Senevirante’s assignments in that diocese. He was permanently banned from ministry in 2002, and he died in 2009.
