William C. Farrington

Brother William “Bill” Farrington worked at Bellarmine College Preparatory in the 1960s and 1970s. He was a dormitory supervisor and coached the swim and dive teams. Farrington was transferred from Bellarmine to Jesuit High School in Carmichael, CA, in 1974. He left Jesuit High School in 1987 after students came forward with allegations of inappropriate behavior. Farrington spent the rest of his career teaching at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA. In 2012, a man alleging that he was sexually abused by Farrington when he was a student at Bellarmine College Preparatory made that allegation public in a letter that was sent to alumni of both of the high schools where Farrington taught.
