Joseph Sheehan

On January 2, 2019, the Diocese of Monterey released a list of 30 clergymen who have been “credibly accused” of sexually abusing children.  Joseph Sheehan was listed as a credibly accused priest not previously released to the public.  The diocese acknowledged that it received reports of sexual abuse involving Sheehan in 1992 arising out of incidents occurring between 1971-1975. Sheehan is reportedly deceased.
