Alexander C. Larkin
Ordained: 1967
In 2003, Alexander Larkin was accused of sexual misconduct with children while he was serving at Our Lady of the Rosary in Palo Alto, CA, from 1974-1981. Two brothers filed a civil lawsuit, alleging that Larkin abused them on camping trips and when he stayed at their family home. That same year, an anonymous letter was posted on cars parked at Sacred Heart Church in Saratoga, CA, where Larkin was working at the time, describing the abuse of a teenage boy at St. William in Los Altos, CA, where Larkin worked in the early 1980s. In the wake of these allegations, Larkin was removed from his position at Sacred Heart.
