Clifton Raymond Etienne was born in St. Martinville, LA. He made his home in Riverside, CA, for 30 years, and he was known for organizing choirs and serving as the director of a sumer youth camp at Divine Word Seminary. He passed away on May 22, 1998 at the age of 61. Etienne was named in a lawsuit alleging that he perpetrated sexual abuse at Divine Word Seminary. Etienne’s name appears on a 2007 list of religious credibly alleged to have engaged in sexual misconduct.
