Edward Haskins

On January 2, 2019, the Diocese of Monterey released a list of 30 clergymen who have been “credibly accused” of sexually abusing children.  Edward Haskins was listed by the diocese as a deceased priest against whom “plausible” allegations of sexual abuse have since surfaced.  Specifically, the diocese acknowledged that it received reports of sexual abuse involving Haskins in 1996 arising out of incidents occurring in the 1950s and 1960s.  Haskins died in 1981.
