Patrick Daly

On January 2, 2019, the Diocese of Monterey released a list of 30 clergymen who have been “credibly accused” of sexually abusing children.  Patrick Daly was listed by the diocese as a deceased priest against whom “plausible” allegations of sexual abuse have since surfaced.  Specifically, the diocese acknowledged that it received reports of sexual abuse involving Daly in 2002 arising out of an incident occurring in 1958.  Daly died in 1966.
