The accusations against Francis (Raymond) Simon surfaced only because of the release of personnel files of another priest.   In 2002, a man sent a letter to the Los Angeles Archbishop alleging sexual abuse when he was an altar boy at St. Benedict’s Church in Montebello. CA. Simon died in 1995.
