Francisco Xavier Ochoa

In 2006, Francisco Xavier Ochoa was charged with 10 felony counts of lewd acts with boys. Incidents of alleged abuse took place from 1988 to 2006. The Diocese of Santa Rosa may have delayed reporting the 2006 incident for three days, during which time it is believed that Ochoa fled to Mexico. Ochoa had served as associate pastor under Vincent O’Neill at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Windsor, CA, a priest who was abruptly removed after allegations of child sexual abuse surfaced in 1996. Ochoa died in Mexico in November of 2009.
