Hector Coria Gonzales

Ordained in 2011, Father Hector Coria Gonzales was arrested on charges related to the sexual abuse of a 17-year-old girl in May of 2014. He was alleged to have been engaging in a sexual relationship with her since 2013. The Diocese of Sacramento placed Father Coria on administrative leave and withdrew his priestly faculties. Coria pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to jail time and probation. The Diocese of Sacramento submitted laicisation paperwork to the Vatican that same year.
