Kevin Dunne

Brother Kevin Dunne was accused of participating in sexual abuse perpetrated by Franciscan friars at St. Anthony Seminary in Santa Barbara, CA, in the Diocese of San Diego. In 2002, he was accused of abuse occurring in 1993. A 2004 lawsuit also alleged that he sexually abused a boy at the seminary in the from 1970-1971. In 2002, Dunne was still living as a friar and working at St. Mary’s Basilica in Phoenix, AZ. From November of 2004 until July of 2005, he was known to be living at a Franciscan Hermitage in Sebastopol, CA, in the Diocese of Santa Rosa. According to a list of priests credibly accused of sexual abuse that was released by the Diocese of Santa Rosa in January of 2019, his current status is unknown.
