Richard M. Martini

Richard M. Martini is accused of abuse of a boy in 1990-91 while he was at Our Lady Queen of Angels Seminary.   The Los Angeles Archdiocese claims that it investigated and the allegations were unfounded.  A civil lawsuit was filed in 2003 and settled in 2006 as part of a large settlement with 22 priests.  After the alleged abuse, Martini was transferred to new assignment and the parishioners were not told of the past allegations.  Martini was named in another civil lawsuit in 2018.  He is still an active parish priest.
