Timothy F. Keppel

In 2012, Timothy F. Keppel was removed from ministry when the diocese became aware that there had been allegations that he engaged in sexual misconduct with a teenage boy from 1976-1979. Keppel was sent to live in Chicago, IL, under the supervision of his religious order, the Congregation of the Resurrection. According to a list of priests credibly accused of sexual misconduct released by the Diocese of San Bernardino in October of 2018, Keppel is considered permanently banned from ministry in the diocese.
