Daniel J. Murray

Daniel J. Murray — the former vocations director of the Orange Diocese — is accused of sexual abuse of one child in 1973-1979. After a civil lawsuit was filed, a $500,000 settlement was reached in 2003. This settlement was kept secret for one year. Once the allegations and settlement were publicized, Murray was placed on leave. Murray was also accused of sexual misconduct in 1991, but Diocese claimed that it could not substantiate the allegation.
